Why School Baseball Matters

A school baseball program is more than a place to compete. It is one of the places where students learn to belong.

A meaningful team experience gives students a reason to show up, work with others and take responsibility for a shared goal. Wins matter, but the habits built around the game matter long after a season ends.

What it looks like

When a school baseball program is supported by families, faculty and community members, the experience becomes bigger than the roster. Players can see that their effort matters to people beyond the dugout.

The community role

Friends of Harrison Baseball exists within that wider circle, supporting the Harrison High School baseball community across Freshman, Junior Varsity and Varsity levels.
